Description

The Plant Process Control Engineer improves process control functions
within the mill in an
assigned mill area. The Process Control Engineer will cross-train in
other mill areas and work weekend/night duty as required. The Process
Control Engineer reports to the Group Leader, Process Control.

Responsibilities Include

  • Oversee maintenance of process control systems within the designated
    area
  • Manage control systems - hardware and software design, reliability and
    performance.
  • Work toward process optimization through development of new control
    strategies.
  • Strategic Planning, including productivity, reliability and capital
    planning processes.
  • Leadership, including workforce engagement, diversity, employee
    and staff development and labor relations
  • Financial Management, including establishing and managing budgets and
    compliance with financial controls
  • Environmental, health and safety, including company policy and laws,
    state and federal regulations

    • Experience

    5 years Process Control Engineering experience

    Education

    BS in related Engineering Discipline or Equivalent Experience
