Waco Texas area excellent position with a Manufacturing Company is seeking a Purchasing Professional

This is an exempt position that reports directly to the Plant Manager. This position involves managing the procurement and associated logistics for all goods and services for a single site manufacturing facility.

Duties Include

Negotiate with and select suppliers based on best in class criteria that will ensure reliable delivery of consistently high quality parts.

Identifies and leads projects in conjunction with suppliers and business units, which continually reduce costs throughout the supply chain.

Communicating and interacting effectively with all departments and members of the organization while taking a lead role in procurement related issues.

Develop and support continuous improvement of supplier performance that provides optimum quality, service, delivery, and pricing.

Perform usage analysis and establish optimized order quantities in conjunction with kanban systems and cycle counters.

Placement of purchase orders for production materials.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

College degree preferred.
