Measurement Service Technician
Description
Summary:This position is responsible for the inspection, calibration and repair of instruments associated with measurement, control and analysis of natural gas and for maintaining system balances and customer relations.

Education And/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and over one solid year of related experience are required. A minimum of six months in a vocational/ technical training or apprenticeship program is preferred. Experience should include proficiency at installing, testing and maintaining electronic flow meters such as ABB Totalflow, Fisher, Flow Automation and Bristol. Should have the ability to calibrate and service Barton 202E chart recorders.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
