Responsibilities
- Perform soft calls to customers consisting of trouble shooting account issues and working towards payment resolutions
- Expedite collection tactics for customers who have open invoices outside of approved terms
- Maintain proper internal controls to ensure the safeguarding of all receivables and related functions
- Responsible for ensuring timely notification to persons with returned checks and providing for the prompt collection of returned checks in accordance with state guidelines and Oregon law
- Send NSF lists to Sales and Outlets
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- Three years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience which includes experience in collecting monies, or related experience
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
