Description
Spurwink Services seeks a social worker to join our Public School Counseling team in our dynamic and growing Evidence Based Community Practices Division. As a school-based social worker, you will provide individual and family therapy to youth K-6. Supervision and training are provided to support licensing requirements as well as professional growth and development. We also offer optional health, dental, vision and other benefits. This is a 5-days-per-week position offering licensure and training reimbursements, therapy and office supply reimbursement, as well as a great opportunity to work with a skilled and supportive team.
Duties
As a school-based social worker, you will provide individual and family therapy to youth and their families, and comply with documentation requirements from your school-based office.
Qualifications
Maine conditional LMSW or LCPC required, independent LCSW or LCPC preferred. Experience with evidence-based practices is desirable; energy and creativity are essential for this position. We seek collaborative clinicians who will work with educators to best meet the needs of each student served. Good organizational skills and comfort with electronic record keeping is essential.
