Title: Business Process Analyst
Location: WA-Seattle
PDS is seeking a Business Process Analyst for an open position in Seattle, WA.
Job Duties
Forms and leads/facilitates cross-functional teams across multiple business processes.
Effectively coordinates with customer and/or charters project, and designs process improvement workshops based on customer requirements.
Analyzes, documents, and integrates requirements from multiple process owners.
Ensures accurate deliverables, maintains status, and communicates to all stakeholders.
Presents recommendations for the process, data, and applications/systems architecture.
Acts as an alternate team lead/ scrum master as needed; serves as mentor to others within the skill.
May benchmark, or assist in benchmarking, best practices and industry standards; presents best practices at internal events.
Leads transition into actionable business strategy by understanding company policies, strategic direction, strategic initiatives.
Leads the successful completion of projects and implementation activities.
Demonstrates basic knowledge and use of Project Management and/or Program Management Best Practices tools necessary to assist customers on business process improvement projects.
Actively works with business customers to set clear scope boundaries to prevent scope creep; works with project management to assign appropriate resources.
Establishes project assessment plans for all open projects; monitoring scope changes, critical path performance, critical path changes and overall status of project.

Bachelor's degree and typically 7 or more years' related work experience, or a Master's degree and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A technical degree is desirable; defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
A minimum of an AA degree relevant to a technical or business degree, along with specific work experience involving, business process modeling, software development/usability, and/or business process facilitation skills may be considered if skills and work experience are strong.
A broad, enterprisewide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies; apply architectural principles to business solutions; assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues.
Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business.
The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture.
Some experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives. Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities.Preferred Experience
Prefer experience with process management, business models, and continuous improvement initiatives
Prefer experience with IBM Webshere/Lombardi Teamworks applications and BlueWorks process mgt tools
Prefer experience leading or working on a project or team that utilizes an Agile project manage
This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check.
