Job Description THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION

Responsible for creating, revising, and reviewing maintenance/operating procedures to support safe, efficient, cost effective operation of the Salem Nuclear Units. Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with all Nuclear standards, processes, and procedures. Author/create procedures as required. Position is also responsible for reviewing design and license changes for procedure impact, performing 10CFR50.59 applicability reviews and Station Qualified Reviewer (SQR) reviews. Support outages and various special projects.
REQUIRED: HS Diploma or Equivalent. Three years or more experience in procedure writing within the nuclear industry. Qualified (or capable of becoming qualified) as a SQR and a 10CFR50.59 Safety Evaluation preparer/reviewer/approver. DESIRED: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical area or equivalent education/related experience. Strong technical background in the area of I&C/Electrical.
Must meet the Nuclear Business Unit requirements for unescorted access
Some off-hours, weekend and shift work may be required.
