L&D Nurse Will Have

We are seeking a qualified RN to work in the Labor and Delivery unit. L&D Nurse will have

  • The skills needed to provide quality care to the Labor & Delivery patient, working as part of the healthcare team, collaborating with physicians and other nurses to assess mother and baby during the perinatal period to develop a specific care plan.
  • The ability to perform all nursing duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.
  • The proven ability to provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals for all Labor & Delivery patients.

Labor & Delivery Nurse – Travel Nurse RN

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements

  • Completed RN Network application
  • Associate degree in nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum 1 year core nursing experience in an acute facility/hospital setting
  • For Specialty Nurses, minimum 1 year recent (during the last five years) experience in field of specialty
  • Current and active RN license for the state in which you are placed - RN Network will help you in this process
  • Current CPR, ACLS and all relevant specialty certifications
  • Annual physical examination
  • Annual Tuberculosis screening - if TB is positive, must provide proof of a chest X-ray every five years, as well as an annual symptoms review
  • Proof of positive titer or immunization for Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella, and either proof of Hepatitis B Titer, three immunizations or declination statements
  • Urine, 10-panel drug test results
  • Citizen of the United States or proof of federally approved identification (both must have proper I-9 documents)
  • 2 job/professional references to verify experience/competency
  • Ability to meet RN network's competency standards plus JCAHO standards and guidelines
