General job duties for an inside sales representative position include making outbound phone calls to increase our customer base, work with outside sales representatives to sell Howard Technology Solutions' products, and providing excellent customer service to current customers. Inside Sales Representatives are paid a base salary plus commission.
Requirements
Howard Technology Solutions gives preferential treatment to those candidates that have significant sales experience. However, if you do not have any relevant sales experience and are interested in becoming an inside sales representative, Howard Technology Solutions offers an unpaid week long preliminary sales training class that will be a benefit to your sales future even if you don't receive an offer for employment from Howard Technology Solutions. Thisclasswill provide candidates with the basic skills needed to be a successful sales representative. A degree in a relevant field is preferred as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interested candidates should be energetic, have a positive attitude, be self motivated, team oriented, organized, and have a passion for success. Interested candidates should also have working knowledge of computer hardware and related equipment.
