The Process Engineer is required to provide completed tasks as related to
AeroStructures IPT as follows: - Provide Technical Support to Mfg. Operations
Shop Floor to help advance Subs/Majors Structure to Final Assembly - Identify
and correct Technical issues, PE-Design-Tooling issues, BOM, and Supplier
issues. - Assist SAC manufacturing with build issues to reduce flow time and
expedite product delivery. - Investigate and submit for corrective action
engineering issues via MER packages. - Review, sign off, create, and implement
PCAS for EC changes. - Review and provide corrective action for issues
identified through turnbacks. - Work with Tub Cell to identify and provide
corrective action for all COPQ issues. - Issue SAP notifications to create new
tooling and enhance/rework existing tools. - Submit MECO forms to correct BOM
issues and to promote Lean Manufacturing. - Work with team personnel in
Stratford by relaying data required for issues that need to be fixed in BPT. -
Support the OffSite Design Centers rotation program by providing training in
process engineer skill sets. - This effort will correct or improve planning as
a result of difficulties discovered during production of product. - It is
required to be in daily interaction with the shop floor Supervisor and Lead
man. - Time on the assembly line andaircraft is required. TheProcess
Engineerwill be supporting AeroStructures Product Center on site
