Requirements

As a Loan Officer you will originate mortgage loans by identifying, developing and maintaining a quality network of business relationships that serve as recurring sources of referrals for new lending opportunities.

Additional Responsibilities

• Building a network consisting of real estate professionals, builders, professional and personal contacts, as well as other valuable referral sources
• Participating in business related development opportunities, community efforts to promote homeownership and professional organizations
• Ensuring exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics, complying with all company, Investor, Federal and State compliance policies and adhering to Fair Lending requirements
• Responding to customer inquiries and referrals that are generated from both their own contacts and from other business channels
• Conducting interview with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determine ability to repay, determine customer financing objectives
• Advising customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information

Specific Requirements

• Licensed by State in which employee solicits or originates mortgage loans
• 1+ years of origination experience, preferred
• Ability to meet minimum production = 3 Loans a Month
