Objective: Serves as a specialist who translates business problems and requirements into information requirements and systems, acting as a liaison between information systems and providers of carein our community. Specific responsibilities will be focused on expanding, maintaining and optimizing the base EHR model we have implemented, development of systems and processes supporting care coordination, quality care delivery and operations. Functions as project facilitator evaluating and acquiring resources necessary for the timely completion of projects.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience. Experience in development and implementation of software applications in the health care industry required. Excellent written/verbal communication skills must be demonstrated. Expert knowledge of application systems and analyst tools. Project management experience necessary. Health care applications experience required.Experience within an outpatient setting; knowledge of ambulatory workflows, EHR Systems and EPIC software experience. Must be EPIC certified.
