About The Opportunity
Functional Responsibility: Participate and supportat the strategic level of decision analysis to include proposing alternative solutions, selection, recommendation, and implementation of decision analysis support tools. Perform planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, scheduling, and analysis of data. Integrate the selection of analysis tools and the results into ongoing operations. Perform statistical analyses, trade studies, and financial analyses.

This Computer Network Defense analyst will be responsible for the collection and analysis of data to derive facts, inferences, and projections concerning capabilities, intentions, attack approaches, and the likelihood of various adversarial attacks under various situations for day-to-day operations.
This individual will produce formal and informal reports, briefings, and perspectives of actual and potential attacks against vital systems or discovered malicious network behavior. Other duties will include participating and supporting the strategic level of decision analysis and proposing alternative solutions; to include the selection, recommendation, and implementation of other decision analysis support tools.
Finally, the individual will plan, forecast, allocate resources, and conduct performance measurement and scheduling, while integrating the results into ongoing operations.
Must Demonstrate Proficiency In The Following Areas
- Must have at least three to five (3-5) years of ArcSight experience. Must be able to build detailed dashboards that provide valuable insight from copious amounts of data.
- Must have knowledge of network-based intrusion detection systems; as well as the ability to identify and research vulnerabilities, attacks, intrusions, and threats to system design and operation.
- Experience in an Operations or watch floor environment is desired.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. The ideal applicant will possess strong interpersonal skills because interacting and advising across the organization is a key attribute for success. The applicant must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. They must be a highly motivated self-starter, who can prioritize multiple urgent requests under extremely tight deadlines, and consistently deliver exceptional customer service while providing impeccable work products and deliverables.
