Legal Secretary – Complex Litigation

We are seeking a legal secretary who will be responsible for legal secretarial support to attorneys working on complex tort and general liability litigation, and assists in overall support of the office as needed. Duties may include documents production, scheduling and calendar activity, data maintenance in company systems, interactions with clients, court personnel, Home Office and Claim, opening and closing files, filing, photocopying, mail and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three to five years experience as acivil legal secretaryin a law office or corporate law department
  • Litigation experience required.
  • Successful candidates will have experience providing support to legal staff for preparation of correspondence, trial or discovery preparation, scheduling, data maintenance, client/claim/home office contact, opening and closing files relating to complex tort and general liability matters.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
