The (Marketing) Media Planning Analyst will be responsible for applying optimization models to drive marketing mix decisions across channels, products and geographies. Leverages project management, consulting and quantitative skills to partner with multiple business lines and corporate marketing to determine best options to maximize marketing ROI.

Derives insights based on many data sources and is directly responsible for developing and effectively communicating 'the analytical story' to various levels of management. Must be collaborative, a strong communicator and have the ability to take complicated information and make it simple to understand and actionable for future decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experiencein an applied quantitative field
  • Eight to ten years of experience in marketing industry
  • Application of media mix models for multi-channel media planning
  • Understanding agent based models (ABM) and other quantitative methods

  • Preferred Skills/Experience

  • External or internal consulting background requiring collaboration across diverse business lines and direct client contact
  • Proven ability to derive insights from data and deliver a compelling story to business partners
  • Comfortable learning new tools/interfaces including a marketing mix optimization platform
  • 3 or more years of SAS for analysis or model development
  • Advanced knowledge of product design, development and marketing strategieswithin financial services
  • Well-developed analytical, mathematical, and research skills
  • Advanced knowledge of market trends, advertising/promotion, strategic planning and new business development
  • Considerable knowledge of a specific business line or functional area
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with multiple levels of management
