Responsible for the training and management of Foreclosure Specialists. Position will be monitoring loans to ensure foreclosure specialists are in compliance with their portfolio and taking appropriate steps for non-compliance. Manage reporting to ensure adherence to timelines and appropriate account follow-up is being maintained to support the best interest of the client and the company.
Principal Accountabilities
Manage staff to create and monitor asset disposition and monitoring of all loans for compliance and initiating appropriate action when non-compliance occurs.
Prioritize and plan strategies for staff if needed to ensure timelines are satisfied. Ensure work is completed accurately and timely.
Develop trend analysis to monitor asset and employee performance.
Design and develop reports and other analysis that will facilitate and support the department's responsibilities.
Ensure all the department's responsibilities are outlined and documented in policies and procedures and are best in class.
Work closely with Vendors and department Managers to ensure the department goals are achieved and Client expectations are satisfied.
Motivate staff, develop career paths, and continuing education while cultivating a positive work environment.
Manage from initiation to completion all litigation issues surrounding foreclosureExperience
5-10 years in the mortgage industry or financial services industry
5 years in default management
5 years of supervisory experience
Client relationship experienceKey Skills
Experience supervising at least 5 direct reports
Experience analyzing loan and borrower data and determining best course of action
Mortgage or financial services experience ' specifically in default management
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to solve complex problems
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skillsEducation
Minimum: College degree - BS
Preferred: College degree in Business Management, Accounting, Real Estate
