Job Details: Prefer an individual with a Bachelors degree (or higher) in IT or a healthcare-related field, however, experience will be taken into consideration. Candidate should have prior experience in a magic or C/S Meditech environment, with particularly strong skills in NPR Report Writer. You should be very comfortable writing macros. You should be very familiar with fragments, Z links, MV arrays, and string extraction. Prefer someone who is able to explore Meditechs front end, understand physical nodes, & use the DDC debugger tool effectively. A well rounded clinical and financial background is preferred. Experience with any of the following is a plus: Boston Workstation (or any scripting package), Excel, Outlook, NetDelivery, 3M coding products, Iatric Systems' Jaguar engine, SQL based reporting tools such as Crystal, Access or SSRS. Other Meditech related experience such as FTP, spooling, report scheduling, EDI setups, BAR proration, MIS user/menu management, NMI/HL7 interfaces, $T programming, experience with LAB and PHA rules and attributes, is also a plus. You must be able to effectively work with end users for training, process development, and workflow analysis & improvement. Strong documentation and communication skills are a must. This is an on-site position.
