Emulex, the leader in converged networking solutions, provides enterprise-class connectivity for servers, networks and storage devices within the data center has a great opportunity for an International Tax Manager based out of our Costa Mesa, CA headquarters.

As our International Tax Manager you be will ensuring all local income and indirect tax matters are managed properly and ensuring that all US internal tax reporting, and external tax compliance needs are accurately met within established deadlines, and to implement tax planning strategies that will positively impact global value. Your involvement with managing the global Transfer Pricing program will include but not be limited to, development and implementation of standardized policies and procedures across all regions, and ensuring compliance with the Tax aspects of Sarbanes-Oxley, and manage policies and documentation for B&L.

The ability to manage multiple stakeholders will be essential as you support the Tax Director in handling tax matters including such as: Reporting, Compliance, Audits and Planning. Work closely with country finance teams (Local Controllers, Corporate Accounting, Treasury & Legal) as well as external tax advisors to ensure all tax accounting & reporting processes are timely met, including completion & review of tax packages, provision work-papers, tax a/c balance sheet reconciliations, ensure 'Statutory' financial statements are completed in a timely fashion and available for the completion of local tax returns.

Work with internal resources (IT systems and finance teams) to capture target data, and utilize software (Onesource) to complete US tax forms for affiliates (i.e., 5471s / 8858s, etc.) on an annual basis for domestic Tax compliance purposes. Liaise with Corporate Accounting, Human Resources and Legal Departments to develop consensus on optimal legal entity structures from a tax, legal and financial perspective, and support corporate acquisition activities as needed.
