IT Manager - Restaurant Applications Education, Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline -
5+ years experience managing .Net Developers (C#, ASP.Net, OOP, MVC3 required) - (WCF and WPF a Plus)
.NET Development Background
Project Management certification and/or six sigma black belt experience a plus
Experience with application running on Mobile/Wireless devices - Plus
Reporting to the Director of Restaurant Applications, this position will lead the team of 6 people. An important portion of this job is a business-facing role, working with developers and architects, business leadership, portfolio directors, and IT Leadership.IT Manager - Restaurant Applications Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage team of application analysts and application developers under restaurant applications portfolio
Foster a spirit of teamwork, coach and mentor, staff and empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals
Plan, analyze, implement and maintain point of sales, back office applications, labor management system, online ordering, table management system, kitchen display system and other restaurant applications that fulfill the mission and the goals of restaurant applications portfolio
Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet assigned tasks productivity and quality goals
Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output
Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures
Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the project team. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment
Communicate regularly with other managers, the director, vice president, line of business leads and other designated contacts within the organization. Work closely with the architects and develop the best technical design and approach
Manage the overall operational and financial responsibilities of the assigned project activities
Manage and maintain applications vendor relationship. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
