The Systems Analyst's role is to define, configure, develop, test, analyze, and maintain /support business business operations using RedPrairie with Oracle back-end. This includes thorough Functional knowledge of RedPrairie (configuration, transactions, testing, break fixes). This also includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications (using MOCA, RedPrairie Integrator, Oracle PL/SQL). The Systems Analyst will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle. This will also include a sound understanding of integration of RedPrairie with material handling systems (conveyors, pick-to-light, etc.).
Primary Responsibilities Include
Provide support for existing and new business applications (Red Prairie and related custom solutions)
Implement standard application functionality or develop custom extensions as needed to meet business requirements
Translate functional requirements into technical solutions by means of application configuration and/or custom development
Design, develop, document and test application configuration, conversions, interfaces, and extensions
Develop, document and execute test plans to assess the integrity of enhancement, configuration or patches
Collaborate with other IT groups and with business users and customers to define business needs and requirements
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree/10+ years
Technical Skills
(Advance)
Programming Skills (Oracle PL/SQL
RDBMS (Oracle 9i/10G/11G)
Non-Technical Skills
Requires a full working knowledge of IT and Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics business practices and procedures in a professional field.
Applies strategies and concepts, and independently determines and executes a course of action.
Advance functional knowledge on ERP modules related to Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics
Advance analytical, problem solving and communication skills
Ability to assist and guide IT and Business users in the effective use of applications and information technology resources.
