Social Media Coordinator
Be the Social Media Coordinator for a large retail client in South Charlotte! You will lead the development and execution of social media strategy across all company platforms. The position requires a strong understanding of social media trends and best practices. He/She will work alongside agency partners to solidify strategy and content as social trends evolve.
He/She serves as a member of the Creative Content team and will report to the Manager of Digital Creative and Content.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities Create and implement all social media channel content, programming, and strategy for company social media platforms in company appropriate voice Monitor social media channels to build community relationships with the brand, increase consumer engagement, and provide feedback to internal departments Drive reporting efforts to determine best practices to increase community engagement and hit benchmarked KPIs Manage company blog content through topic and project assignment and provide consistent review for improvement of quality content and site traffic Develop and contribute to digital and social programming for company supplier partners Collaborate with outside agency to align strategy and content development with brand initiatives Cross-functional collaboration with marketing, merchandising, and PR teams Other assignments and special projects as required
Position Requirements Knowledge of key social media platforms in a business setting (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, foursquare, Google+, etc.) Understanding of best practices and emerging trends within digital and social spaces Knowledge of social media monitoring tools a plus Proficient verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects that may require supervision and coordination of multiple individuals
