ettain group has an immediate opportunity for an HL7 Interface Analyst to work closely with the Interface Development team, IS Support groups, hospital personnel and ancillary application vendors to analyze, design, document, test, troubleshoot and coordinate implementation of HL7 interfaces.

Responsibilities

- Analyze, design, document, test, troubleshoot, coordinate implementation and provide technical support for HL7 interfaces between Health Information Systems (HIS) and ancillary application systems.

  • Work with Application Analysts and Interface Engineers to translate interface requirements into technical HL7 specifications.
  • Perform training for interface applications, HL7 messages and network topology.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Build strong relations with business partners and team members.
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization, both written and orally, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Delivers informative, well-organized project updates.
  • Communicate, prioritize, track project progress, and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Evaluate requests for service, identify value and make recommendations as to the ones that yield greatest return.
  • Able to quickly learn business processes and identify opportunities.

    • Required Skills

    - Health Care Experience Utilizing HL7 Messaging - 2 Years

  • Systems Analysis - 2 Years
  • Clinical Application experience - 2 Years
  • HL7 Interface Engine Support - 1 Year
  • Cerner application experience desired
  • Project Management experience desired
