Take this chance to join a growing Infrastructure team as a Business Systems Analyst, with one of our best clients in Plano, TX. ettain group has an immediate opening for an experience Business Systems analyst to support an enterprise initiative, connecting business and IT objectives. This Business Systems Analyst will focus on compiling data, data mining and analysis.
As the Business Systems Analyst you will define overall application functional/business requirements with end users and recommend application modifications/configurations/processes for solutions to functional requirements. You will have the chance to implement, design and/or upgrade applications. As the Business Systems Analyst you will create test plans for projects as well as analyze model test discrepancies to find trends and works with programmers to resolve. You will also establish cost and time estimates for development/ implementation of projects.
You will utilize prior experience to produce business process flow charts and create communication plans (correspondence, presentations, and other materials) for knowledge transfer to leadership. You will make an impact by devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. You will utilize excellent communication skills to guide end users through complex application functionality with be a key component of the role. Leadership skills will come in handy when leading projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration. You will have the chance to provide mentoring and to participate in external product vendor steering committees.
As the Business Systems Analyst you will be responsible for understanding and at times recommend new processes that align to Infrastructure (IMS) technology towers. You will also need to understand the infrastructure data repository (Remedy) and be proficient in mining data to analyze processes and recommend process optimizations based on analytical results. You will coordinate team access to PolicyIQ help update and train on IMS SOPs. You will then work with team to insure the continued accuracy of all published SOPs.
You should feel comfortable creating, designing, and maintaining various SharePoint sites for teams (BSA, Communications Team, all IMS Towers). You should also feel comfortable preparing and/or editing meeting minutes and presentations. You can make an impact on the IMS Projects team by preparing proposals and/or data that would support the project proposal.
