ettain group has an immediate opportunity for a contract to hire Business Systems Analysts at one of our rapidly growing clients in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area.
The IT Business Systems Analyst will focus primarily on IT operations tools and processes throughout the IT Service Operations function; however, they also may work across business units and other functional areas as well.
Requirements
Very strong background in ITIL and IT Service Management processes
Deep knowledge and background supporting service management systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or other best-in-class CRM platforms.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; including process documentation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of tools, processes, and operations planning.
Experience working with IT development staff on complex projects.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices as well as solution architecture.
Strong analysis, project management, and reporting capabilities.
Strong technical background with advanced personal computer skills including: Microsoft Project, Visio, Word , and Excel
Ability to work collaboratively and take a lead role within a team of other business systems analysts and cross functional peers to support deadlines.
Ability to evaluate, define and prioritize projects.
Ability to develop longer-range project plans and schedules for individual or work for a small team.Education & Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of experience is required. 9 to 11 years of experience is preferred.
A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required; Information Technology, or related technical field is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred
ITIL v2 or v3 certification (Foundation, with preference for Practioner/Intermediate levels)Other Requirements/Information:
Must be able to work on-site in the client's location in Raleigh/Durham, NC area.
Very little travel is required in this role
