Position Summary

IMPACT Resource Group(IRG) is the
premier supplier of assembly, repair and merchandising services for
the retail industry. In addition to our long standing relationship
with Lowe's® Home Improvement stores, we provide our service
expertise to over 15,000 locations on an annual basis. IRG helps
retailers establish their reputations as quality merchants by
providing them a full range of project, merchandising, installation
and assembly services.

Remote Market

SPECIALIST
This position is
responsible for providing in-store and in-home assembly of RTA
Furniture and/or Bikes and Grills, merchandising services and
installation services to various retail stores in the area.

Responsibilities

(when working as the lead of a multi-employee
project team)

  • Ensure that other
    team members arrive on time
  • Ensure that each
    project team member is working in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Assign each
    project member appropriate tasks.
  • Understand And

    maintain product area plan-o-gram integrity.

  • Replace And

    maintain vendor POP as needed.

  • Ensure product
    area is clean and well maintained, according to retailer
    specifications.
  • Complete minor
    plan-o-gram changes, as required.
  • Maintain a
    positive working relationship with all store employees and customers.
  • After each Work
    Order, report all work performed using either Company provided device
    (netbook or laptop) or computer located within retailer and acquire
    retailer approval.
  • If needed, take
    digital pictures of product area and include pictures with report.
  • If using Company
    provided netbook or laptop, sync device at the beginning and end of
    each work day.

  • Project Tasks As Assigned. Such As

  • Assemble And

    install fixtures and displays;

  • Set up and
    reconfigure products in accordance with plan-o-grams or schematics;
    and
  • Assist other team
    members with assigned tasks.
  • Discuss any issues
    that arise during project execution with store management.
  • Maintain a
    positive working relationship with all store employees and customers.
  • Review all work
    performed and ensure that all project tasks have been completed..
  • Walk the completed
    project with store management and obtain approval.
  • Report any issues
    that arise during the project to the Install Lead.

  • Overseeing The

    quality of the work performed by each project member.

  • Supervise each
    project member's adherence to all Company policies.
  • Develop positive
    working relationships between all team members.
  • Communicate any
    performance issues of any team member promptly to your District
    Manager.
  • When requested,
    provide training of any new team members.

  • Requirements

  • Must be able to read and understand
    plan-o-grams.
  • Must be able to read and understand
    basic wiring schematics and instructions.
  • Must be able to read and understand
    product assembly instructions.
  • Must complete internal
    certification programs.
  • Must have basic carpentry
    skills.
  • Must have good computer skills,
    including basic MS Windows skills.
  • Must have good communication and
    customer service skills.
  • Must have good presentation
    skills.
  • Prior installation experience a
    plus.
  • Must be 18 years or
    older.
  • Must have reliable
    transportation.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
    and automobile insurance.
  • Must have daily internet
    access.
  • Must have basic tools.
  • Must be able to work in various
    positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending
    over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of
    time.
  • Must be able to use hands and
    fingers to handle feel or operate objects, tools or
    controls.
  • Must be able to lift, pull and push
    materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds of
    weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
  • Must be able to work in precarious
    or high locations and also be able to climb and descend
    ladders.
    Remote Market Specialists are paid based on
    productivity. Paid training is
    provided.
