RNFA - Registered Nurse First Assistant
2 years of Pediatric Cardiac experience required.
Must take call with weekend call involved. Fluxuating schedule from 5-8 hour days or 4-10 hour days.
Upon graduation and obtaining a degree in Nursing from a NLN or CCNE accredited program and Tennessee state-approved program, applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care. team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Furthers professional growth by engaging in 6- 10 hours of learning activities annually.

Qualifications
Job requires Graduate of an accredited discipline specific program and 2 years of Pediatric Cardiac nursing experience required.
First Assistant Certification preferred. Pervious experience as First Assist. Must be competent in circulator, scrub, and First Assist roles.
