POSITION SUMMARY: The clinical operations manager is a front-line supervisor responsible for the entire Imagining Services Department. The manager must maintain inventory and order supplies, supervises the maintenance and quality control of the department's equipment, evaluates the work of clinical operations personnel, allocate human resources to meet business needs, updates and improves departmental and hospital policies and procedures, and ensures that associates conform to policies and regulatory guidelines. The manager also identifies training needs and solves complex problems. The Manager plans and directs department goals.
Minimum Education
Successful completion of college program resulting in Radiologic Technologist certification.
MINIMUM FIELD-OF-EXPERTISE: Five years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging Services. Demonstrated knowledge of imaging operations. Basic computer knowledge and skill in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Possesses strong leadership skills demonstrating excellence in interpersonal skills to promote, and develop teambuilding; leadership ability, demonstrating excellence in interpersonal relationships. Knowledge and implementation of state and federal policies.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Must possess a current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license and be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARDMS or equivalent.
