About This JobDuties

The Electrical Engineer that we are looking for will participate in electrical scope of work development, $5k to 6 figures in size, for both green-field and flex type projects. Represent client during all stages of project design and construction: planning, concept, scoping, design reviews, and construction. Respond to requests for information from contractors, vendors, manufacture representatives, or AE firms during design or construction activities. Interface with client organizations such as manufacturing, sustaining, and facilities management, and AE design firms during all aspects of the project in order to determine project needs, design costs, and schedule. Conduct field walks for design constructability and observation of area to be modified. Coordination with multiple vendors and manufacturer representatives during all aspects of the project.

5 to 7 years current design experience

Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Self motivated.

Good communication skills.

Be able to read and understand construction drawings, design specifications, equipment submittals, electrical P&IDs and 1-lines.

Must have had previously electrical engineering and or design experience.

Field construction experience is a plus but not a requirement.

Understand and be able to perform basic electrical calculations.

Have a basic understanding of various electrical systems and NEC.
