About this jobOur client is looking for a Nuclear Civil Engineer that will be involved with engineering projects. Initially, will perform as the Civil-Structural Engineer on the EFM Power Block Wall. This is a civil engineer with a structural background. Duties include but not limited to the following:

Review and acceptance of third party detailed engineering change packages and deliverables for compliance with procurement documents and acceptable nuclear engineering practice

Provide input into the budgeting and schedule development for the Project Coordination with other Engineering disciplines and groups to insure licensing and design criteria are met

Provide technical support to both Constructor and Operations during implementation and testing

Duties

Qualifications

BSCE or equivalent experience

Five years related experience in civil engineering

Understand steel and concrete design of miscellaneous structures associated with hydraulic structures

Civil Engineering knowledge and ability to evaluate field activities associated with the construction techniques and approaches to water retaining structures

Demonstrated effective communication and leadership skill

Desired Qualifications

Previous Nuclear Project Experience in Civil-Structural area

Previous / currently qualified engineer under the Engineering Training Program (Nuclear)

Past work experience at Nuclear Station is a plus

Registered Professional Engineer

Experience with preparation of calculations at a nuclear facility

Self-motivated and able to advance project with management involvement
