    About this jobOur client is looking for an accountant to perform inter-company work, accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing.

    Must know the controls procedures behind these functions.

    Plans, analyzes and reports on an area of General Accounting (GA).

    Develops processes to maximize efficiency and control through process design and proper controls complying with the U.S. Accounting Guidelines and Guidelines.

    Leads projects to implement process change and participate on project teams with ability to evaluate impact to GA.

    Analyzes and maintains related General Ledgers (G/L) accounts to minimize financial risk.

    Ensures timely recording of financial transactions completes month-end close activities and reviews financial statement accuracy for group reporting.

    Communicates with other departments, affiliates, vendors and customers to resolve open issues.

    Represents GA department in system upgrades, identifies issues, evaluates impact and test changes to avoid interruptions to GA production.

    Designs metric program for reporting to management and creates countermeasures for targets not met.

    Prepares data for internal/external audit and answers audit questions appropriately.

    Makes presentations and communicates Accounting subject matter to small/large audiences consisting of all levels of management.

    Adheres to Group training schedule.

    Performs other duties as assigned by Group Operations Supervisor.

  • Qualifications

    BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.

    3+ years of Professional Accounting Analyst Experience

    SAP experience in (Accounts Payable) FI and (Procurement) MM module (preferred)

    Manufacturing experience (preferred)
    Advanced = knowledge of US Accounting Guidelines and Control Requirements.

    Advanced = ability to review financial data and interpret results.

    Advanced = ability to think analytically, strategically and set direction.

    Advanced = ability to work collaboratively.

    Advanced = skills in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis in MS Access and Excel.

    Advanced = ability to take ownership.

    Advanced = ability to be a self starter with minimal supervision.

    Advanced = ability to solve problems, use initiative and take responsibility for decisions.

    Advanced = presentation and communication skills

    Advanced = Project Management skills

    Intermediate = SAP proficiency, FI and MM module (preferred).

    Intermediate = ability to communicate for results

    Intermediate = ability to adapt to change.

    Basic = ability to develop talent

    Ability to act with Integrity.
