About this jobWe are looking for a Civil Engineer with ten or more years experience working as a Design Civil Engineer performing structural analysis. The successful individual will work on a large project associated with replacement of the main turbine control system, electro-hydraulics, and associated equipment. The individual in this position will provide review and oversight of Architect Engineering (AE) design activities associated with performing modifications. In addition, the individual is expected to prepare plant modifications, calculations, and associated documents as a result of implementing modifications. This position may require travel back and forth to AE offices, suppliers, and others to participate in reviews, meetings, etc.

Duties

Qualifications

Must have at least 5 years design engineering experience at an operating commercial nuclear facility preparing plant modifications, calculations, and associated documents.
Specific experience with design and analysis of piping and conduit supports and other structural members associated with plant equipment is desired.
Must qualify as a Responsible Civil Design Engineer
BSCE minimum req.
Turbine controls exp a plus.
