About This JobResponsibilities

The General Maintenance Techs our client is looking for will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide variety of buildings and systems. This position has the ability to inspect, analyze, and perform corrective maintenance actions and repairs. Will evaluate and resolve problems by applying appropriate solutions from previous practice and similar experiences. This role applies technology and seeks assistance as needed. This position completes multiple, related technical tasks. Able to perform daily job duties unassisted. Assists senior maintenance technicians by performing tasks that are usually routine in nature. Performs routine installations and maintenance tasks such as restrooms repairs, HVAC filter replacement, and lighting bulb replacement. Willingly performs other duties as directed by the shift supervisor. Typical duties may include routine troubleshooting and making simple repairs as directed. Typically receives detailed instructions on most work. Works as a skilled craftsman, performing complex trouble-shooting and repairs on all types of industrial equipment \ Facilities infrastructure. Works on a wide variety of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. Maintains equipment and systems maintenance logs. Read and understand blueprints and/or schematic diagrams.

Duties

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

1 to 2 years of experience preferred.

Must have thorough knowledge of procedures and technical concepts within own area, and is familiar with regulations and standards for area.

Must able to work from heights (aerial lifts, fall protection harness, scaffolds, etc.)
These positions will be part of our 24/7 schedule which has them working eight 10-hour days on followed by 6 days off.

Schedule will have the employee working T, W, Th, F, S, S, M, T and then off W, Th, F, S, S, M.
