About This JobResponsibilities

The Construction Engineer performs modularity reviews of Build to Layout skid designs. Investigates constructability issues for areas in building, site and utility designs. Prepares for and participates in 90\% review for Issue for Construction packages and Build to Layout skids. Prepares for and participate in reviews of Issue for Construction packages of platforms and mezzanines. Prepares for and participates in reviews of vendor package submittals for large plant equipment. Works with construction firm on proper sequencing of construction. Provides coordination and liaison between client, construction firm and in-house construction resources.

Duties

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Must have strong construction or construction management background with an emphasis on modular construction approaches.

Should have a good understanding of constructability in the building, site and utilities areas.

Should have experience working with vendors, preparing/reviewing Issue For Construction packages.

Should have a strong understanding of construction sequencing.

Experience with construction specific project scheduling is a plus.
