About this jobWe are looking for a Senior Field Engineer for start-up, construction and installation supervision, process, electrical, controls and mechanical troubleshooting of complex, multi-million dollar water and waste treatment systems and their components. Senior Field Engineer- Coordinator - Customer Services. May be required to supervisor or lead others Field Engineers and Technical Writing / Instruction Manual Department.
Develop and implement various programs such as repetitive engineering and maintenance problem solving techniques.
Apply same to equipment in the field and in-house design.
Establish standard field report system.
Schedule and prioritize personnel and projects.
Start and run Physical / Chemical Sewage Treatment EPA (similar experience desired)
Supplier contacts with the goal of customer satisfaction.
Responsible for back charge settlement.
Developed and write technical, safety and maintenance procedures for manuals.
Instructed customers in field implementation.
Responsible for solving complex mechanical, instrumentation, process, production, maintenance, field and engineering problems.
Start-up management of large projects, cutting edge systems.
Coordinate service responses among corporate divisions.
Repair, service and direct construction, start-up, acceptance testing / validation and service of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and process control equipment, ancillary systems and venues.
Perform process, safety and maintenance reviews, equipment analysis and implemented system design improvements.
Develop and present operator and maintenance training programs.
Recommend and implement equipment and operations upgrades to management.
Heavy, hands-on troubleshooting and equipment maintenance of water and waste systems.
Develop and institute PM programs, write and compiled maintenance manuals, standardize operating and safety procedures and institute spare parts / equipment redundancy programs.
Sale resins, equipment upgrades and service contracts.

Duties
Qualifications
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and correct quickly and efficiently.
Industry and equipment-specific experience with RO, DI, Packed bed Upflow, Contra-Flow, UF, MMF, CDI / EDI, UV / Ozonation, Powdex, Seperex, Sludge Dewatering, Polymers, Clarifiers and other cold-process treatment chemicals, Jar Tests etc.
Ability to find, hire, schedule and supervise qualified personnel.
PLC familiarity with hands-on field reprogramming experience.
QA / QC, fabrication, pre-shipment functional checkout and inspection, project scheduling and safety review experience. Expert in equipment and systems construction and installation supervision.
Technical writing, training program creation and sales presentation experience.
Computer literate. Experience with MS Office and its components.
Adroit and creative use of available resources including in-field equipment and process redesign.
Able to read schematics, blueprints, project specifications and specification drawings.
Heavy back charge negotiating experience.
Experience in hands-on operations, electrical, mechanical, process, design analysis, process, instrumentation and controls troubleshooting and repair.
Ability to communicate effectively with management, workforce, suppliers and customers.
$40 per, plus OT
The assignment is for approximately 6 months, working on a time and labor basis, no per-diem.
Location of position-Oregon and Arizona
Start date 8/6 (no exceptions)
