About this jobWe are looking for a Mechanical design engineer with nuclear plant modification experience for a long-term project (1yr). Engineer will be responsible for the resolution of identified fire protection/safe shutdown deficiencies. This will include the design and approval of modification packages to support NFPA-805 Project. Mechanical design experience to include the design and/or verification of HVAC flow, thermal hydraulic calculations

Duties

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required

Previous modification preparation experience will be a plus.

Must have some fire protection/Safe Shutdown knowledge as well as experience assembling modification packages

Strong Fire Protection/Safe Shutdown experience is required
