About this jobJourneyman Industrial Electrician

Journeyman Industrial Electricians are responsible for repairing and installing electrical systems in new industrial construction and maintaining electrical equipment and wiring. They also identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in electrical wiring that occur in an industrial setting. They are expected to be able to run tests, isolate problems, replace faulty sections of wiring, and lay conduit for the new electrical systems. Also may include repairs on manufactured units, industrial equipment, or electronic controllers in a manufacturing setting. Will be preparing in-house electrical estimates by performing research on parts, scope of work, materials and labor hours. The use of power tools such as saws and drills along with hand tools such as conduit benders, wire strippers, screwdrivers and hacksaws as well as ohmmeters and voltmeters to test connections and make sure electrical system components are safe and compatible.

Duties

Qualifications

5 years experience required.

Skilled electrician with at least seven years of experience managing crews and construction projects.

Active Journeyman or Masters electrical license preferred.

Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and construction safety requirements.

Ability to demonstrate and uphold integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth

LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED.
