Requirements

Provides Application Operations (Run) support of critical applications for the (Plant 10) manufacturing facility. As part of the Plant Operations team, address Level 2 application issues on a 24X7 rotating on-call schedule. Reviews and supports all applications turned over for run responsibility of (Plant 10) Application Operations (FZ-271). Supports the applications of a complex automotive manufacturing warehouse environment in SAP's IM, WM & EWM - involving Goods Movement Placement & Removal Strategies Posting Changes & Stock Transfers Implementation Scenarios & Interfaces Delivery, Transportation and Scheduling Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Handling Unit Management (HUM) Yard & Labor Management Reporting & Analysis Radio Frequency (RF) Cross-Docking Integration with other Solutions (SCM, ERP, CRM) WM & EWM Replenishment. Must be able to articulate, explain, describe and outline solutions and processes in WM & EWM Configuration. Follows group and team standards for operational run responsibility (ResolvIT sheets, Handover agreement, Operations Manual, on-call process, etc).Works with application teams and business users to ensure proper documentation and processes are in place for the running of applications. Works with application teams to deploy new projects and applications to determine run requirements. Performs technical operational tasks, such as index rebuilds, archiving, etc. as directed by the Plant 10 Applications Operations Management. Supports business oriented tasks such as PISA ordering and IDAS communications. Provides planning and support of central application asset systems such as ConnectIT, CMDB and TrustIT. Develops processes to streamline IT response for Level 1, 2 and 3 requests, within the team. The position may serve as a representative to any of the following meetings as delegated by the Services and Applications Operations Manager:

Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings (global, regional, local, preCAB),Operations Meetings (IT and Business), Project deployment and gateways.

Assists the Information Technology team in process matters as related to systems development/support and provide the necessary on the job training and development of associates/contractors within the team. May be required to assist IT Services and Applications Operations Manager with the management of medium to large sized project teams, (including budgets) which are responsible for the planning, development and implementation of system solutions. Assist IT Services and Applications Operations Manager with the coordination and management of specific task and activities for support, enhancements and projects for area of responsibility according to the desired quality and agreed upon schedule. Coordinates change management for systems and applications in area of responsibility. Investigates and evaluates new technologies that can be used to develop new strategic directions for information systems to provide the competitive edge in business needs. Adheres to Group IT Process Quality Management (ITPM) methodology in performing all tasks. Maintains accurate, meaningful and updated technical and non-technical documentation pertaining to all aspects of area(s) of responsibility. Maintains the Service Level Agreements within area(s) of responsibility. Performs other duties as assigned by Group operations supervisor.

This is a long term contract position with full time hours.

This is a third shift position.

Duties

Qualifications

BS/BA degree or the equivalent of 5 years of related experience in Information Technology.

5+ years experience in SAP Warehouse Management (preferably automotive):

1+ years of team and/or project leadership experience

2+ years of experience in planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation and training of IT solutions

2+ years of project management experience to successfully plan, organize and lead projects to

meet deadlines within budget.

1+ years experience with cost and budget control preferred

SAP Certified Application Professional - Logistics Execution & Warehouse Management with SAP- ERP 6.0 EHP4

German language skills required.
