Per Diem Hospice Registered Nurse - Home Healthcare RN

As a Per Diem Hospice Registered Nurse, you must have absolute integrity and sound judgment. You will act as a patient advocate, working independently to ensure your patients are physically comfortable and content. We are seeking RNs with good social skills; energetic, organized and emotionally capable of caring for terminally ill individuals. You must also be a team player, able to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people.

Additional Responsibilities For The Hospice Registered Nurse Case Manager Include

• Providing nursing care with an emphasis on symptom management
• Supervising professional home health aides
• Referring patients' families to applicable community resources in collaberation with the team
• Maintaining strict confidentiality
• Providing care directions for family members
• Requires on-call runner coverage

Additional Requirements For The Hospice Registered Nurse Include

• Being licensed as a Registered Nurse
• 1-2 years of Nursing experience
• Ability to occasionally lift 25 pounds
• Previous Hospice experience, a plus
