Job Details

  • The Physician Systems Analyst analyzes, tests, debugs, integrates, implements, trains and supports physician-related computer systems. Establishes and maintains a professional relationship with physicians, allied health professionals and physician office staff so that information technology needs are appropriately addressed. Works with users to analyze system needs and translates identified needs into functional specifications.

  • Establishes professional relationships with physicians, allied health professionals and physician office personnel to enhance their experiences withBryanLGHMedicalCenter's technology and computer systems.
  • Conducts information, process and system analyses; identifies appropriate hardware/software needs; implements and manages the technology needs of physicians, allied health personnel and physician offices as requested.
  • Consults with physicians and medical staff to identify current procedures and clarify information technology objectives; formulates plan outlining steps required to develop information technology program and submits plan to physician for approval; prepares flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps the program must follow.
  • Converts physician specifications into functional specifications; assists physician's in developing formalized requests; outlines implementation timeframes; develops communication regarding scheduled implementations, installations or other computer changes impacting physicians' routine computer usage.
  • Develops training programs and trains physicians, allied health professionals and physician office staff as appropriate; monitors effectiveness of training and modifies content/materials as necessary to ensure competencies.

    Associates Degree in Computer Science and/or professional certification in a clinical field required. Registered Nurse preferred. Minimum of two (2) years experience working with physicians in a support or clinical capacity required. Minimum of three (3) years experience supporting and maintaining computerized systems required.
