Network Communications, Inc. is looking for a high-energy director of marketing to join our growing team in Norcross, Georgia.

The director of marketing will lead the development of our advertising strategy, messaging, and the training for several hundred media sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop winning sales messaging and collateral for the brand and our 100+ local market sales teams.

Train adverting sales personnel to ensure consistent and impactful messaging. Training will occur in person, via webinar, and in group settings.

Generate demand for company’s solutions and actionable leads for our sales teams.

Work with in-house analytics tools (Omniture, Microstrategy, etc.) and third-party research tools (ComScore) to competitively position company’s products and services.

Work with product development teams to package, create and promote new products and services for advertisers.

Direct the company’s business-to-business social media efforts.

Implement sales force automation processes and tools.

Lead all brand awareness, earned media, and PR efforts for the company. This will include the creation and dissemination of press releases and cultivating relationships with editors at leading industry publications.

Lead the company’s presence at industry events, tradeshows, conferences and seminars.

To Be Considered For This Role You Must Have The Following

To be considered for this role you must have the following

5-10+ years experience marketing in a media sales environment.

5+ years successful management experience.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage for results

In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, processes and practices

Excellent interpersonal, team building and customer relations skills

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Additional desired skills

Media sales marketing for highly-trafficked websites

Social and mobile media experience.

Deep understanding of ComScore and other syndicated research and media reach tools.

Experience training media sales personnel.
