Job Description
The AECOM office in Latham, NY is currently seeking an EHS regulatory compliance professional to provide auditing services and regulatory expertise to a variety of commercial, industrial, and governmental clients. Working knowledge of federal, state and local environmental and health and safety regulations is required. Experience developing regulatory-based compliance programs, delivering related training protocols, and completion of regulatory-based reporting is preferred. We are looking for a professional who has extensive experience reading regulatory language and interpreting the requirements as they apply to specific situations on a case-by-case basis.
Our ideal candidate will have at minimum a BS degree in a scientific or engineering field with 5-10 years of experience as an EHS auditor and/or as an EHS site professional. Computer software proficiency in MS Office programs is a must and CPEA and HAZWOPER certifications are preferred. A willingness and interest in traveling to client locations for providing regulatory compliance services is required. Up to 25-50% travel can be anticipated with this position. Attributes we are looking for include strong communication and interpersonal skills, technical writing expertise, and ability to work independently.
