Video Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities include designs, tests and implements analog and /or digital hardware for video processing and interfacing products. Activities would include researching / specifying new components, guiding PCB design on new projects, interfacing and collaboration with other design engineers, and interfacing with product managers during product design cycles.

Requirements

  • BSEE Degree (transcripts required)
  • 5 years' experience with high speed analog/ digital video circuits
  • Knowledge of analog and digital video interface standards
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose issues with video quality
  • Experience with mixed analog and digital video PCB layout
  • Knowledge of hardware/ software partitioning relative to video processing
  • Experience with CPLD/FPGA programming and assoicated devices and tools
  • Experience with Software programming a plus (C/C++)
  • Experience with board level design of tightly integrated microprocessor based systems
  • Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal)
  • Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
  • Some travel will be required
