Position Overview

The Billing Associate will ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices. They will serve as part of the billing team and resource to Billing Supervisor as well as to the KAS Finance/Accounting Team. They will assist in billing and revenue recognition troubleshooting duties, non-routine internal/external customer issues, and process improvement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS And DESIRED RESULT

  • Monthly cyclical billing of contracts as assigned within designated timeframes
  • Perform revenue analysis; reconciliations to billing
  • Be familiar with different invoicing conventions T&M, Fixed price
  • Produce timely and accurate invoices to the customer
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external customer
  • Assist with uploads to customer billing systems
  • Understand contracts, modifications
  • Assist in cash collection as needed

  • EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE

  • The minimum education and experience required for the position.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum two year accounting degree
  • 2 years billing / accounting experienceSKILLS:

  • Proven customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented and well organized, hands on, ability to think quickly and able to manage multiple projects
