A busy repair facility in Southern California has two openings for Fire Truck Mechanics/EVT's. The company has many locations throughout the area and is flexible on which location the Mechanics will be based out of. The individual must have at least a level 2 Fire Mechanic certification as well as ASE or equivalent certifications with strong capabilities in diesel engines, air and hydraulic brake systems, electrical, power train, and ECM diagnostics. Other knowledge in performing BIT and DOT inspections, cab-air conditioning, welding, forklifts, and CNG systems would be a plus. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass an extensive background check. The company provides programs for further training in the various areas of automotive truck repair, including alternative fuel systems, diesel repair, air brakes, Transport Refrigeration, and other new technologies.

Compensation: $28.00 - $33.00/hour. Starting wage will reflect experience level. This also includes medical, dental and vision coverage, 401K plan, paid vacations, holidays, and personal days.

Shift: Days, Monday - Friday. Should be flexible to work any hours as needed, however, if you have a shift preference - please let us know.
