General Responsibilities

Provides swim lessons and lifeguard services for events such as lap/open swims and aquatic facility rentals as needed, and collects fees. Examples of Duties: a. Provides lifeguard services to patrons of lap/open swims and rentals.b. Provides a safe swimming environment.c. Administers prevention techniques to minimize accidents.d. Provides first aid to any land or water-based emergency that occurs in the facility.e. Provides CPR if need occurs.f. Collects fees for pool usage and deposits with the appropriate organization.g. Provides general cleaning as a secondary duty.h. Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned.
