Physician Assistant - Injection Clinic

Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: Day shift
Hours: 40 hours weekly

Responsibilities

MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant, to work as Physician Assistant injector in our various orthopedic clinics. This position will require daily travel to orthopedic clinics in Baltimore. Experience with Ultrasound injections is a plus. The Physician Assistant hired for the role, would be responsible for the following:

• Administering injections
• Performing examinations
• Obtaining client medical history
• Promote a friendly, warm and exceptional customer experience

Qualifications

Candidate must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program; At least 2 years clinical experience, preferred. Current NCCPA(National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants) certification. Current certification with the Maryland Board of Physicians. Quality Assurance (BPQA). BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred.
