Based in the mid-peninsula area, my client is searching for an Accounting Manager for a Contract-to-Hire engagement. The ideal candidate will have Telecommunications Industry experience. The Accounting Manager will work as a consultant for a 2-3 month period. If successful, the candidate will be offered the permanent position.

Job Requirements

  • Perform month-end close tasks(i.e.: journal entries, Account reconciliations, etc.);
  • Prepare Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flow;
  • Participate in managing Accounts Payable(i.e.: code, post, obtain appropriate approvals and pay invoices);
  • Manage company audit;
  • Ad hoc projects as deemed necessary;
  • Self starter, results driven that prides themselves on quality work;
  • Effective verbal and written communicator;
  • Proficient using ERP Systems, preferably SAP.

    • Skills And Education

  • BS Degree in Accounting;
  • CPA (4 years in public accounting is what is most important, with a CPA (or having at least passed some of the parts and is working towards passing the others);
  • Minimum of 8 years experience, 3-5 in a Start-Up environment and 3-5 in a larger publicly traded company environment;
