The Director, Account Management will work closely with Human Resources Business group leaders and cross-functional Informatics team members to manage small to large scale strategic related initiatives to ensure that the systems being developed are aligned with the requirements of the business community.

This is a director level consultant/right to hire position with HR experience, a senior person that will be interfacing with directors and above to identify and work with HR on systems needs.

Business Information Account Managers (BIMs) are the primary point of contact for Informatics Business Operations (IBO) customers. This role is also known in the industry as BIM (Business Information Manager). A BIM is responsible for aligning the Informatics strategy with the business strategy. He/she has to ensure that cross-functional integration is being realized, service levels are realized, and priorities are set effectively.

The BIM Has Overall Responsibility For

Working with Informatics organizations, and liaising with Customer Teams, the BIM has overall responsibility for

Understanding business strategy of customer and aligning it to IT strategy
Defining and maintaining the long range Informatics strategy with the customer
Advising management on Informatics opportunities and best practices
Developing and managing the Informatics project portfolio and budget proposals in alignment with the strategy, business objectives and governance processes.
Ensuring the applications and processes fit the needs and capabilities of the customer's organization
Ensure standardization of applications by promoting shared processes, data harmonization and architectural compliance where possible
Team up with appropriate Technical Architects to design and evaluation possible technology solutions
Responsible for customer satisfaction and account management
Support delivery team as needed
Ensure consistent communication
Work closely with Project Management to gather and clarify business requirements

Main Areas Of Responsibility

Required to understand the needs, goals and expectations of the users and communicate these to the technical staff.
Identify and develop business requirements, as well as system test plans.
Create project charters, business process diagrams and detailed business requirements for applications that support Human Resources departments.
Lead the Human Resources Project Portfolio and prioritize new demand.
Partner with the business, Architecture, PMO and Delivery teams to manage projects to successful On Time/On Scope/On Budget delivery
Responsible for management of Customer Satisfaction of Information Systems to the business.

Minimum Qualifications To Be Considered For This Position

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field, Advanced Degree (MBA) preferred
10+ years as a systems/business analyst
Experience with Human Resources Business Applications such as Talent Management, Compensation, Workforce Management, Training and Development, Performance Management, and HR Operations.
A firm understanding of the System Design Life Cycle and previous technical experience
Excellent oral and presentation skills
Relationship building / people management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interface with senior executives in Informatics and business.
Demonstrated Experience in Analytics

CBAP Certification
