Business Continuity Engineer
Princeton Information is seeking a Business Continuity Engineer to develop and implement an enhanced end-to-end methodology that aims to integrate business recovery, application recovery, data recovery, technology infrastructure recovery and supplier/vendor recovery as part of a holistic approach to continuity risk management and business resiliency.
The Candidate Will Establish The Following Under The Direction Of The Business Resiliency Chief Operating Officer
The candidate will establish the following under the direction of the Business Resiliency Chief Operating Officer
X Perform strategic analysis to help define and support the CoB Tools Strategy for existing and new methodologies for business impact analysis, business recovery planning and testing, application recovery planning and testing, operational and risk metrics and management reporting
X Manage and resolve the most complex and highly variable issues with substantial potential impact
X Apply broad and comprehensive understanding in multiple functional areas as well as their underlying business principles and priorities
X Understand how the CoB Tools function integrates within the overall organization to contribute to achieving business objectives; requires a good working knowledge of the industry
X Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sources
X Influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions and regions)
X Develop Business Requirement Document, test plan and test scripts
X Manage business requirements for enhancements to existing CoB Tools as well other tools that can be leveraged
X Define standard and customized reporting to meet new management requirements
X Collect, review, document and communicate business needs and requirements and act as an advocate to ensure their successful implementation
X Persuade and influence global and regional CoB stakeholders and external parties through outstanding communication and negotiation skills
X Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
X Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred; or equivalent work experience.
X 7+ years Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery/Business Resiliency experience, preferably within a Business and Technology Risk Management environment
X Relevant experience at Client's industry peers is a plus
X 10+ years experience working with internal/external audit/regulatory groups or related experience is preferred
X Strong analytical skills; proficiency with various audit/compliance software programs a plus; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; demonstration influencing and negotiation skills; ability to prepare and present compliance related information for review with senior technology managers
X Broad knowledge of the interactions of Business and Technology organization; ability to manage expectations and maintain key relationships with internal and external clients; strategic and critical thinking skills
