Detailed Work Schedule: Pool - Scheduled as Needed; Days 7 - 3:30pm or 8:30 - 5pm. Weekends and Holidays on call

Job Description

Job Summary: Produces high quality, diagnostic MRI scans on patients of all ages demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and operating MRI system and related software according to established policies and procedures. Will demonstrate clinical competency in all aspects of MRI including MR angiography and MRI breast procedures. Shall provide a patient experience focused on service excellence and patient safety

Qualifications

Required licensure/Certifications: Board certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and is a member in good standing CPR Certified. Proof of MRI Registry or completed MRI Registry within 1-2 years of employment, as determined by MRI experience at the time of hire.

Minimum Education

Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiological Technology

Minimum Experience

Registered Diagnostic Technologist of at least 2 years. Previous MRI experience an asset.

Preferred Experience

MRI experience in an acute care hospital.
